It was sort of simple. Not bad for a $15 WiiWare game.

But I enjoyed it; it was a different way of playing Pokemon although it kind of reminded me of one of some sort of old battle arena type game.

It also kind of made me think of Mystery Dungeon only without the semi turn-based system or the gridded movement.

Anyone else tried Pokemon Rumble with any opinions?

It's a step in the right direction. I had a whole rant/review on it on Vibrai but I'm not as strongly opinionated about it now.

All I can say is that there needs to be a real-time Pokemon game sometime. Hopefully virtual reality or holographic sometime.
